Lose yourself in this Honfleur Harbor by Ted Goerschner. This magical harbor is on the Normandy coast of France where family and friends can embrace another era. There was a cafe where we sat with a bottle of wine, listening to the music and watching the people. What romance!
A devoted professional oil painter and teacher, Ted Goerschner (1933-2012) lived in Santa Ynez, California, with his also professional artist wife, Marilyn Simandle. Ted’s work has been shown nationally in many galleries across the nation and has received numerous awards, including the Gold Metal Award at the Rockport Artist Association in 1977, in Rockport, Massachusetts. Ted authored a book “Oil Painting, the Workshop Experience”. A student once almost guaranteed that “at the end of one of Ted’s workshops you will be a better and looser painter”. Ted achieved honored notoriety as a Master OPAM (Oil Painters of America). His legacy as an accomplished artist and teacher lives on.
